Does this mean it won't be able to get updates to extension code(not block lists) anymore? I am getting high CPU usage with uBO since yesterday but I do have a lot of tabs so I was wondering if thats a bug that will get fixed.

Switch to UBL, the manifest v3 successor to UBO, to continue to get updates, the performance is better too.
