This pretty much sums up my vibe coding experience as well. I have been doing many small pet tool/util projects at work, and after a few thousand LoCs I am always very detached, and have a hard time to see if the LLM is off track or not. At this point I often try to get it to refactor the code aggressively, and especially finding duplicate things.
