Well, be the change you want to see. CEOs know that part of the justification of their existence relies on solidarity between each other - and that they can collectively bargain with institutions to remind of that justification.
Dont try to tell us what we are choosing to focus on. Everything in the message from Pike and the comments below his post are relevant. There was no assumption in my mind that this was all about Pike.
Please don't reinterpret my comment. I didn't say anything about what you're focusing on. I made the simple and clear point that clicking on Pike's name leads to an unattributed quotation that (it turns out) isn't from Pike.
As if the person he was replying to didn't do the same. What's even the point of batting for the status quo like this? Do you enjoy your knowledge being obfuscated?
No one has done it yet in this comment thread, so I guess I will.
This is a fake video [1] created and posted by YouTube user "chad chaddington" on Oct 1, 2020 explicitly as a hobby video in blender. He even notes the following in the video description:
"I enhanced the video using Artemis LQ setting in Video Enhance AI. I will try next with the composite setting to see if this makes a difference. I am not that great with this stuff as far as rendering 3D graphics and have never used blender so I am not sure if this helps anybody but I thought maybe a little more clarity would help. Maybe throw a sub my way ;)"
The free rider problem is a natural consequence of all-encompassing progressions that benefit multiple parties at the least expense of themselves and each other.
Even the logic behind a pareto optimum necessitates the presence of the free rider problem, to prove the point.
I mean, they kind of have to. The last thing you want is some disgruntled Disney-goer trying to get a quick refund or discount for false advertising by saying they, "expected olaf to interact with them, because it looks like he does in the promotional videos"
