I've been thinking of trying XMonad for a while, and looks like this is the opportune time. Anyone know if there's an easy "switch to last used window" functionality?
Nice, but seems to be something wrong with the tagging. I unchecked all tags except `experimental` and I ended up with seven results, only one of which is actually experimental, (`picture`), the rest being _pretty_ cemented (`dt`, `li`, `option`, `td`, `th`, and `tr`).
It also seems to leave out some other expermental tags, like `wbr` and `slot`, that are on the site.
>Solution?
You said it yourself: "[...] our body's joints [...] were not designed to remain in one position for too long."
Try a pomodoro-esque schedule (25 min work, 5 min rest) where you get up and move around, maybe do some stretches and warm up exercises?
It's Nature Boy, originally recorded by Nat King Cole. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq0XJCJ1Srw - it's one of those songs that's been recorded by a ton of artists from that era. I personally heard Ella Fitzgerald's version first.
You say that, but I've seen a few too many people delete random system files because they didn't know what they were and needed space. Granted, they should've read the "keep out" signs and have only themselves to blame.
These files are hidden by default, so not only didn't they read the "keep out" signs, they tore them down and said "See? No sign." and then ran into the hole.
I guess at some point you can't protect people from themselves anymore. One might even argue that people who use WSL (especially in beta) would be tech-savvy enough to understand how it's implemented and works, but apparently not ...
Sure - it is not a good situation. To me it would have sounded perfectly reasonable to edit WSL files with a Windows editor. There could at least be some kind of __README_FIRST_BEFORE_DOING_ANYTHING_IN_THIS_DIRECTORY.TXT.
I just wanted to make clear that the parent comment is slightly hypberbolic.
Protip: YouTube has a speed setting. Just click the little cogwheel thing and it should be there. I usually use it to bump up slow talks a bit, but I'm assuming it works just as well to slow things down.
Me too. I almost always speed up the video (due to my impatience) on Youtube. I usually find many videos too slow . The downside is that I can't do that in real life, where I want to increase the speed of the speakers at a live conference.
I don't think Siraj's video is too fast. It seems just right for me.
