Missions should evolve with the stage of the company. Their last mission is direct and neat. The elimination of the sentence "unconstrained by a need to generate financial return" does not have any negative connotation per se.

Devil’s advocate: does Beeper opens up iMessage to spam bots?

Spam bots can already use the Mac version of iMessage. I doubt Beeper will change spam levels for iMesssage users.

This is addressed in the announcement, beeper is happy to add a pager emoji to the message metadata to allow for identification.

Time brings regulation. Liberalism is maybe a reaction to that trend.

Power brings regulation. Time doesn't really have anything to do with it as far as I can tell, other than the fact that we seem to be quick to create rules and slow to remove them.

True, especially with other sources like Twitter. But should I just find a way to surface the best or surrender to the huge amount of content? I feel like I am winning the battle until I disconnect..
