to be fair it's not clear if Mac Pro will continue to exist, it's been in a limbo for a while. When I saw this post on the front page my first thought was "oh, this is how they solve the 'We need to have a product assembled in the US but we only have Mac Pro that we do not want anymore'"

maybe use as a e-reader or watch ripped media on it? if it's jailbreakable i am sure there's a lot of stuff to do too

don't knobs also serve a practical purpose since otherwise you'd have a ton of horizontal sliders, which would quickly crowd the interface?

Spinner controls have been around ~forever in GUIs.

They take up about the same space in a UI as a virtual knob, but they clearly display the current setting and are much easier to interact with.

i don't have a w11 supported machine, but when I see the OS in videos or screenshots, I always thought it looks surprisingly pleasant and fresh, compared to 10. Really miss Vista though, that one was amazing visually.

You probably do, I thought I didn’t but if you just disable the warning about TPM 2.0 with a simple command it lets you install it just fine. Had no problems for years now.

if it's made by a 4channer, it's probably stolen API keys

This made my day, thanks :)

what is the full tiling experience like? I was never a tiling WM guy, on Linux I'd just set some KDE shortcuts for moving and resizing windows. On macOS I used Spectacle and then Rectangle but not sure what I am missing out on, I was always content with Spectacle

I've used XMonad for a while now. Almost no fiddling with windows at all.

If you buy someone's old gaming account (Steam for example) with many years of activity, you can appear more legitimate when trading, therefore making it easier for people to trust you and fall victim to your scam(s)

that lightning AV adapter is crazy, iirc it creates an ethernet connection to airplay the display to the device

I absolutely love how Skyrim's world is built. A lot of details that would fly past most players' attention are quite thought through. How roads connect, where do rivers intersect, where do lakes get their water from, in which direction do they flow etc.
