DJT got rid of the middlemen (lobbyists)?

Quite fitting, as Jassy loves hockey.

ahhh... 5 whys... having horrible flashbacks of that place.

Brave Search + Google Scholar for me.

> Give me a way to filter out results with ads on them please.

Use Brave Search with Goggles (https://search.brave.com/goggles/discover). It's great.

For me, quotes no longer are exact match. Google Search is kind of a bust.

This combined with the ability to negative = remove results was the last straw of usability for me.

I cant even imagine why they got rid of that, unless hundreds of thousands of people started pasting 1000-character search terms removing all the known ads currently flying around

My favorite is these "vibe coding" situations that leave SQL injection and auth vulns because copy-paste ChatGPT. Never change.

Far from making me fear for my job, LLMs have me more confident than ever that I'll always be able to find some kind of paying programming work, even if it's all short-term contracts (as I get even older).

So objectively false that I don’t even know where to begin.

You sharing that crystal ball?

Use Mullvad + Brave Search. Problem solved.

I don't think you get what I mean... Mozilla made 85% of its revenue from Google in 2023 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla_Corporation). That goes away; who is going to pay that? 653 million income, 555 of that from Google... Google stops paying; that's 98 million left over... Their dev costs were 260 million. How do they make up the shortfall?

Selling off your data privacy... duhhh. :crying:

This equates to "Mic popping at-will." "Hyper-surveillance state."

Unplug those things already. Alexa devices are spyware.

yes. that was the original design actually. and it worked. latency was a bit much though.
