how does it compare to wispr flow?

which beats the pants off android or iphone transcription...

I tried this and i like the 'spec driven' approach. its a bit like amazon's kiro, but who wants to give more data to amazon?

RIP financial regulation. CFPB was hit early on but the dump coins were launched even before that

Very cool like a text based crm. Like how obsidian keeps all your docs in local .MD files. Perfect for building agent automations without delving into lots of integrations. This does make it harder to collaborate though

Reminds me also a bit of

https://github.com/MrLesk/Backlog.md

I've seen people but cpc campaigns and only place ads that don't convert. So they get the benefit of the branding instead. I guess more modern auction algorithms factor this in

Half my advertising budget is wasted, I just don't know which half... In many corporate cases vague metrics meets the KPI better than accurate ones

I worked for one of the mag7 doing customer support bot tech. Clients internal metrics around containment consistently showed better results than ours - even though you'd normally expect them to be putting pressure on their vendor. because it was a kpi for their internal team to look good to their bosses

nice launch!

Do you worry that AI browser agents (comet etc) will eat this market of light integrations? Since the user is already logged in to various services like linkedin/email etc it's easy for tasks to be scripted together - or fully prompted.

also what did you use to make the video? looks better than most looms.

Oh I used Screen Studio :)

Thanks for the compliment.

Not worried about browser agents, as we actually have pretty deep integrations (we include semantic search as well as user action graphs).

Naturally apis will always be better than browsers as apis are computer languages and browsers are human language.

The sale of Browser Company today too I think shows there's not that much of a ceiling for agentic browsers.

I do like convex but do you support any other data stores?

Were you using their embedded player or some other method to play the raw streams?

The embed links back to YT which is a major part of why they provide it for off-platform playback.

But if they somehow singled you out for overuse of the embed that seems rather arbitrary

Yep! I was using their embedded player. I thought I was doing everything right but didn't read the ToS because in my mind, ToS is just blocking silly things like "please don't use our product to build nuclear weapons", not "please don't use our product to play videos on another site".

Struck me as very anti-user and BigCorpo.

It was the project that solidified never building on someone else's 'lawn' again.

Why did you think that??

does this work with cloudflare workers? I'm assuming if its using worker threads it might be some node specific API?

or at least the putting jobs into a queue side running within cloudflare?
