Whenever the master branch and slave branch thing comes up people say that it's fine because it has nothing to do with slavery.

The thing I don't understand is, even if it had something to do with slavery, why is that harmlful?

I am not really sure, but I believe these are rebranded Boox Lumis.

Would you mind sharing who those independent fact checkers are?

I think it's a joke, this is the text that Facebook puts at the bottom of some false information.

As with all jokes though, I think there's an element of truth to it. May not be independent fact checkers, but discussion in this thread covers the iMessage comparison and I wouldn't say it's as clear cut as Zuckerberg would like to make out.

Hmmm... Except for the fact that people who don't use Facebook are never going to get the joke...

I don't use Facebook, but I know enough about their half attempt at fact checking to get the reference.

Except for the fact iMessage is well known for its RCEs as well: search for "iMessage RCE" you will find them.

Furthermore (this may not be the case anymore), iMessage is more privileged than other apps and so once exploited an attacker has a far greater reach.

Yup. That's why I don't use iMessage. :)

These calculators are very popular in France.

I know of a lot of teachers who use them for teaching.

The only way to know would have been to compare the models :)

How about no?

Why do we need to add further complexity into the already complex thing that are browsers?

As the post mentions at the beginning, this can already be done with pre-processing. What do we gain by having more syntax sugar?

The ability to eliminate the need for pre-processors.

I don't think that statement refers to rust at all. It's just referring to the fact the software is open source and the user's data doesn't go through a third-party

It still does according to the undergraduate program page https://www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/courses/computer-s...
