love me a new text editor, here for this!

Probably works the same as any other container that needs such acceleration (plex, CUDA) just pass the device over and the CAPs. There are guides online. Whether or not the windows in a container will use it idk.

Windows is virtualised here.

Yeah and you can pass a virtualized GPU to a VM

What is the state of virtio gpu drivers? I was under the impression that you only get opengl acceleration unless you pass over a whole GPU.

It should work just fine with Intel GPUs at least

all this vertical integration no wonder Apple and Google have such a tight relationship.

Love the competition. Gemini 3 pro blew me away after being spoiled by Claude for coding things. Considered canceling my Anthropic sub but now I’m gonna hold on to it.

The bigger thing is Google has been investing in TPUs even before the craze. They’re on what gen 5 now ? Gen 7? Anyway I hope they keep investing tens of billions into it because Nvidia needs to have some competition and maybe if they do they’ll stop this AI silliness and go back to making GPUs for gamers. (Hahaha of course they won’t. No gamer is paying 40k for a GPU.)

I don't understand this at all.

"Tokens represent digital land, not ownership."

'"Not a securities platform

Not selling tokens

Not accepting public funds

Not fractional ownership

Think of us as “Stripe for property tokenization.”'

what is it then? why would I buy tokens in some property then? It doesn't sound like I derive any yield from ownership, I participate none in any upside in the sale of real estate... I don't get it.

I have a rental property why the f would I ask this:

We built RealDeed because property owners kept asking us the same question:

“Can I put my real estate on blockchain as a digital twin without selling ownership or offering securities?”

who are these property owners asking this? what do to they do with their property once on the blockchain?

No one is asking this

Look like a solution seeking a problem. Anyway. Good luck with all that.

Call of duty 6 and now 7 will never work. They’re checking for TPMs and yelling about secure boot. Insanity.

Yea and guess who owns Activision?

I wonder when games will require HVCI and friends

Trump’s tirades on tarrifs show that even despite him and his stupidity the American economy is still the buyer everyone wants. Even despite alienating allies and trading partners with tarrifs countries are still playing ball so to speak. This all tells that the dollar is more resilient than we think.

Are you serious? Many examples of countries looking for alternate supply chains. The fact that it takes a while to put those chains in place does not indicate that countries are “playing ball”.

> Many examples of countries looking for alternate supply chains

The US is the single largest consumer market in the world. There is no alternative.

... for now. The future is unknown. So far republicans seem mostly happy with the uncertainty Trump delivers to the world. What will the next administration be like?

You’re both right. Short term it’s the biggest market of dumb buyers. But long term who knows.

How does it do in coding tasks? I’ve been absolutely spoiled by Claude sonnet 4.5 thinking.

Lame. Still like things like Zed that look a bit like vscode but without all the electron trash.

It’s just google’s attempt at cursor. Nothing to see here.
