They launched more mass to space than every other entity on planet earth combined last year.

The US actually did just that when it retired the shuttle program. We had to rely on Russia to get to the space station.

> AIPAC-driven ouster

Yeah, i definitely had nothing to do with him accusing his party of protecting pedophiles and repeatedly voting with the left to block Trumps agenda. It must have been the jews.

https://www.politico.com/news/2026/05/17/massie-aipac-record... It literally was. And wait till you find out you find out who Epstein et al. were working for.

It literally wasn't. It was an ouster pushed by Trump. From your own article:

"Prominent pro-Israel GOP donors have funneled millions more into a super PAC stood up by President Donald Trump’s political operation"

> And wait till you find out you find out who Epstein et al. were working for.

Oooh, please tell me. I'm all ears.

The classic HN trope of a non-rebuttal presented as rebuttal. And you conveniently left out the link in the sentence: https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2025/07/31/congress/ma...

It’s true, “MAGA KY” has Trump’s name slapped on. Like the Zionist war againt Iran. Which you clearly support.

> I'm all ears.

You’re clearly not.

Here are two articles Reuters wrote about how the war in Ukraine was going to do something similar in 2022[1][2]. Make of this what you will.

[1] https://www.reuters.com/graphics/UKRAINE-CRISIS/FOOD/zjvqkgo... [2] https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russias-war-ukraine-bla...

Also worth noting that a deal was worked out a few months later, before things could get bad. https://www.npr.org/2022/07/22/1112880942/ukraine-grain-expo...

And like other articles pointed out, wealthy western countries will always just outbid poorer countries for their food. No one in Germany, Poland or the UK was going to go hungry without the grain or fertilizer from Ukraine - but it does mean we have a much tighter supply than before, and poorer countries got quite literally priced out. Combined with the reduction of foreign aid(not just by US) there is a humanitarian crisis going on in a lot of places as a direct consequence of this. This is "just" going to make the existing problems worse.

Wait a minute! Dutch people were forbidden from buying more than 2 bottles of sunflower oil for a few months!

It was my generation's 1945 winter of starvation.

Here's a video of Trump in 2015 talking about how he would make sure Iran never got a bomb [1]. Crazy that the Israelis we're already planning it then.

The Stuxnet cyberattack on Iran's nuclear capability was a joint US-Israeli operation in 2010. This has been going on for a long time.

But that doesn't mean that the timing of the current war, and the choice to start it, wasn't due to Trump's desire for a distraction.

To me it seems like just "the current thing" that the media is accusing trump of. In his first term it was russaigate. If Trump was in the Epstein files in any meaningful way you think the Biden administration wouldn't have leaked it?

It depends how many others are implicated that they want to protect. I think the Biden administration were operating under the assumption that Trump was gone and on his way to irrelevance, a reasonable assumption at the time. Vindictively going after him when they had already “defeated” him was probably deemed unwise.

This proves my point, Trump didn’t simply decide to do this because of Epstein.

Israel have wanted to do this for over 4 decades. Netanyahu has been spreading this “we can’t let them get a bomb” rhetoric much earlier than 2015.

The point is that this recent attack, Israel approached Trump with the idea and said they are going to do it with or without him. This isn’t speculation, this is what we know.

> Nobody credible said or believed Iran was making nuclear weapons.

Tell that to Iran's former parliamentary deputy speaker who said 'When we began our nuclear activity, our goal was indeed to build a bomb. There is no need to beat around the bush.'[1]

I don't think it's "stealing land" when you have to invade your neighbor to stop rocket attacks on your cities.

Entire villages no longer exist. These are people's homes.

The rocket attacks come because Israel periodically invades, as it is now.

It has murdered UN peacekeepers, journalists, medics, aid workers, and so many civilians. And this is before what it does internally.

It is utterly transparent that land is being grabbed, up to the Litani. Next will come settlers.

There is no justifying this flagrant aggression, nor the countless atrocities Israel has committed in the last few years.

You should be ashamed.

The day after October 7th, Israel was attacked from Lebanon. Israel has every right to do what it is doing to secure its northern border. Any country on earth would do the same.

This is wonderful. I would love to set this as my desktop and screensaver if that were possible.

Thank you! You know you are the 2nd person to mention a screensaver, that is enough motivation for me to build it! Seems like it shouldn't be that hard, I will look into it soon.

I just was going to post same, so make it a 3rd!

I did not anticipate having a screensaver project on my bingo card on this day in 2026 but it is now so!

I am guessing that most people would want to see the Sun videos for a screen saver, maybe a random wavelength on each screensaver instance? I will make an opensource repo to it that works on desktop-anything with a little GUI for user settings/preferences.

EDIT: Or did you all mean basically replicating the site as it is but as like a dashboard screensaver? Thank you for all the feedback!

I meant the whole page with the four sections, but maybe also enable any specific part as well would be cool.

Hmm I will think on this. An open source desktop widget could recreate the screensaver function, triggering on X minutes of inactivity, then minimize upon any user activity. I'll play around and see!

That never happened

I agree

They apparently all love america. They try to come here as soon as they get a chance....

Peasants also would accept to part of the king's court. Why not be the king even.

Doesn't change OP's point on contempt.
