Thanks for sharing! This brings back so many memories. When I was 8 years old, my mother enrolled me in a programming summer camp at our local university. This was my first exposure to BASIC and that is what got me hooked. After that, writing BASIC programs on APPLE 2/2E throughout junior high and highschool was the thing to do. Switched to Visual Basic shortly after that... It started it all for me!

I use kbin which links to both mastodon and Lemmy.

It's cool, but I lost my whole map I drew when I accidentally double clicked and the site crashed.

Sorry to hear that! How big was the map you made? Images can get pretty large which used up a fair bit of ram, and I’ve found that if you overwhelm a computer, it tends to just make the screen go white and lock up, but I haven’t found a good solution to that other than warning the user on creation of larger sized maps
