Ha I would spend a couple hours in front of the library copy machine at the start of the semester, and then take my stack to the store and get it bound myself.
I considered this for one particularly hard to find book and it turned out it would have not cost much more to just buy the textbook compared to printing it lol
Maybe we should introduce Mean Time Between Annoyance (MTBA).
Many of my appliances (dish washer, coffee maker, …) work just fine for weeks before an annoyance pops up („deep clean“, for example). Many of my applications do not. For most I could measure MBTA in minutes. Definitely with Spotlight.
No, I know stacks and they're not them. In my case, new icons (e.g. downloads, files that I save, etc.) appear on top of each other, as if the desktop lost track of their position. It's clearly a bug that hasn't been fixed in a long time.
