Health care in the US is the field that functions with the ultimate values of the country: totally free market (read capitalist jungle), without any state/public support, where only the fittest literally survive. But everyone can (read hopes to) become one.
In order to reach density living you need three things: space, water and food. The first was possible through the Roman cement, the second through the monumental Roman aqueducts and third due to the large share of slaves in relation to free people (it might be 10:1)
There is and will always be a 1-3% minority in every aspect: rich, deeply educated, talents, tall, etc etc. It's the right tail of the Bell curve. In OSes, this is Linux.
As a citizen of a developed semi-corrupt country I know exactly how it feels. It's a cognitive dissonant state: the people elected those that end up stealing them. There are many vulnerabilities in the whole system: electing method, media distraction, low public political education. A well known proverb says the fish stinks from the head, but here it's become the fish stinks only in the head.
The huge energy consumption of the past decades was pushing temperatures up, especially the fastest rise of the mightiest power in history, China (not to blame them though, cudos to them). We have not reached peak everything yet (CO2, energy, steel etc).
We must and we will adapt, if that means renewables, migration or partial extinction. There is no other choice because this is the law of evolution.
Many people predicted this coming sooner or later. I predict that end user Windows OS will some day die in favour of Linux. At first they will swap the kernel and next the userspace. Tell me crazy but so we told those back then.

The ultimate goal of these "tech elites" is to concentrate all wealth to one person (themself each) and leave the rest of the people with 0. It's the extreme of capitalism, which by the way is the same as the extreme communism. By advocating an UBI, paid of course by the state, they feel they make us a favour and we should thank them.
Human progress is to blame for low fertility through a multitude of mechanisms but the most important is the status of the female: it seems her advanced role outside of the home depresses her maternal instinct. Instincts are vulnerable to environment and don't survive in certain occasions.
Europe has a very long way to real digital sovereignty. It's not only the 3-4 cloud companies that have to be replaced. It's the whole stack, from CDNs down to the two US based mobile OSs, that will haunt European citizens for a long time as no replacement seems to come soon.
Funny thing, as a Greek I preferred Latin letters for math symbols, which I knew fluently, as this helped me focus easier on them among the Greek text. I believe this is one of the reasons Greek letters are used in Latin languages.
All 24 Greek letters are used as math variables, depending on the field. Eg κ, λ, μ for arithmetic, χ, ψ for equations, graphs and differential, θ, ω for probability. Someone should definitely know to handle them easily.
These cards are designed for kids, though they seem effective for adults too, as their language knowledge is similar to a small kid's. Another simple way is to print and fill pre-school charts that show repetitive large letters. It's never too late to learn Greek!
