This is $10 USD a month to have a search engine. $5 is a more reasonable price but 300 searches is far to little to be useful. Converted to my currency this is over 2 hours of wages for a search engine.


I see. $10 is half an hour of minimum wage in my state, and around 1.25 hours of federal minimum wage. For anyone who hasn't been laid off in the US, it's a pittance for US developers.

Sounds like Kagi might need to implement some better regional pricing.


Unfortunately they can’t implement regional pricing because they have very thin margins.
